The En Ka Society Civic Committee responds to community service needs, such as:

• Finds volunteer drivers for Meals-On-Wheels
• Recruits members for snacks to ABC House
• Distributes plants and holiday favors to patients of the Visiting Nurse Association
• Provides birthday cakes and social teas at Mt. Vernon House/ Elderly Housing
• Provides Readers to the Gables and Winchester Nursing Home
• Participates in beautification of the town by gardening two 'islands'
